Q) How long does it take for delivery of my Shoes and how are they sent?

A) If we have the Shoes in stock it will take 7 days. Customized orders generally take 4 weeks. All shipments are USPS Priority Mail.

Q) Is there a warranty or guarantee on the footwear?

A) Yes, there is a 180 day manufacturing warranty against defects in the materials.

Q) What is the return policy?

A) We will accept returns for 14 days if Bay Area Comfort Footwear is properly notified via email and/or telephone. We will not accept any return that shows wear on the shoes. Each pair is carefully fitted and adjusted upon purchase. We suggest wearing your Shoes in your home to assure you’re happy with them. There is a 25% restocking fee for customized orders.

Q) How to I clean my Shoes?

A) The Sandals can be cleaned with a damp cloth. As with any fine leather do not soak them in water. You can also use leather cleaner like saddle soap to help keep the leather soft and the colors vibrant.

The Clogs, Shoes and their insoles can be washed with a mild soap. Any cleaning product that contains bleach, harsh abrasives or industrial cleaning agents may cause damage or color change. Air dry.

Q) Why is it difficult to order on the web site if I have not been personally fitted by Bay Area Comfort Footwear?

A) Bay Area Comfort Footwear is very conscious of the proper fitting, proper adjustments and assuring the proper style for every customer we sell. People have different size feet, manufacturers sizes differ and choosing one style over another can be a significant decision. We pride ourselves in the proper fitting of every customer.

Q) My shoes squeak when walking on certain floors, why is that?

A) Yes, there are occasions when the sandals squeak on some inside only surfaces. Just like tennis shoes or any soft base shoes.Various factors contribute including certain polishes and cleaners used on the floors or even the humidity in the air. This is not a defect but something that happens naturally and there’s no way to prevent it. The benefits and quality of the sandals far outweigh an occasional squeaky floor. Most major retailers are aware of this and maintain their floors with non-squeaking polishes and cleaners. Usually as the sandals are worn more, the squeaking will lessen. You can also wipe the bottom of the sandals with alcohol to remove any grit that could contribute to the squeaking.
